Statement Regarding the Report

An internal compliance investigation has revealed serious data protection violations. Based on the findings of this investigation, we terminated the employment of the employee in question on April 30, 2026. We have also reported the incident to the relevant data protection authority. 

The protection of our employees' and customers' data is our highest priority. We therefore take decisive action in cases of violations of our data protection and compliance guidelines. 

Our decision and the termination were based solely on the results of the ongoing investigation. The employment law assessment of the incident was conducted independently of the upcoming works council election and related activities. We fully respect and support the works council election. This incident does not change that.
