The UNIQ® pd thermoforming material offers an innovative solution for aligner treatments by achieving maximum effect with just one layer. Unlike many multilayer foils, UNIQ® pd permanently withstands forces generated during the entire treatment without any stability loss. UNIQ® pd’s improved material characteristics allow it to exert less pressure over an extended period of time compared with conventional single-layer aligner materials. Thanks to its gentle initial forces and constant restoring forces, it also offers a considerably higher wearing comfort. As a result, the teeth move more smoothly and efficiently whilst the patient enjoys a higher wearing comfort at the same time.
