A material developed specifically for the requirements of the dental industry, bringing a long-missed quality back into the digital workflow: the familiar feel, texture and quality of a classic analogue model. With its plaster-like texture combined with high density, surface hardness and strength, IMPRIMO® LC Model stone combines the key advantages of the analogue and digital modelling worlds. The printed dental models impress with their matt, plaster-like surface, which creates excellent contrast and makes even the finest structures and details clearly and precisely visible. IMPRIMO® LC Model stone thus brings the familiar feel, appearance and quality of a classic plaster model into digital manufacturing, combining them with the precision and efficiency of 3D printing. The result is a new generation of digitally manufactured dental models that are not only produced with precision and reproducibility, but also feel familiar to handle and work with. IMPRIMO® LC Model stone really comes into its own, particularly when producing models for pressure moulding and aligner techniques. Its high dimensional stability and strength enable the production of robust and dimensionally stable models. At the same time, IMPRIMO® LC Model stone is excellent to work with, exhibiting handling characteristics very similar to those of a traditional plaster model. Models can therefore be precisely refined, adjusted and optimally prepared for the subsequent stages of the workflow. IMPRIMO® LC Model stone also impresses during further processing thanks to its high flexibility and practical suitability. The material is compatible with both the IMPRIMO® Model Separator and conventional water-based separating agents, allowing it to be easily integrated into existing dental laboratory workflows. Thanks to its high temperature stability, IMPRIMO® LC Model stone is also suitable for applications in which the models are exposed to increased thermal stress – for example, when working with a Bunsen burner. Designed for use with DLP systems featuring a 385 nm light source.
